A single-use fly trap without insecticides.
Designed to capture:
House fly (Musca domestica)
Lesser house fly (Fannia canicularis)
Similar non-biting, sponging fly species
Not intended for biting insects.
Recommended for use in enclosed outdoor areas. Do not use preventively, as it may attract flies. In areas with low fly populations, effectiveness may be reduced since trapped dead flies also act as additional attractant.
FlyRelief™ can capture thousands of flies.
Easy and convenient to use – just add water and hang!
Excellent for use near horses, pets, cattle, sheep, poultry, pigs, outdoor dog kennels, yards, garbage containers, or anywhere flies are a problem.
Includes: FlyRelief™ Trap (1 piece)
Directions for Use
Follow the illustrated instructions on the packaging.
Pull the top of the trap upward by the cap until it locks into position.
Hang the trap outdoors in a sunny location with high fly activity or where odor will not be a nuisance. For maximum effectiveness, place the trap at least 120 cm above the ground.
In hot weather (above 85°F / 30°C), the trap performs better in shaded areas.
In cooler weather, place in direct sunlight.
? Not recommended for indoor use or for biting insects (ants, crickets, dragonflies, grasshoppers, etc.).
Activating the Attractant
The attractant bottle is inside the trap bag and must not be removed.
Through the plastic bag, firmly grasp the attractant bottle between thumb and forefinger and point it downward.
Twist the cap until it snaps open and the attractant empties into the trap bag.
Keep the trap upright to prevent leakage.
You may need to squeeze the bottle slightly to release the contents.
Adding Water
Fill the trap with water up to the “water fill line” indicated on the bag. For best results, fill the trap after it is hung.
Gently shake to disperse the attractant evenly in the water.
Maintenance
Shake the contents at least twice per week to fully soak captured insects.
Add water as needed to maintain the liquid level approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) below the level of trapped insects. Do not allow the trap to dry out.
If larvae (maggots) appear due to insufficient shaking, add 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap and enough water to fully submerge all insects. The larvae will drown in the soapy solution.
When the trap is full, dispose of it in household waste. Avoid contact with the trap contents, as decomposing insects may produce a strong odor.
Helpful Tips
In areas with hard water, use distilled or purified water for best results.
In areas with heavy fly populations, use multiple traps in different locations for increased effectiveness.
