An imbalance of intestinal microflora can compromise a horse’s health and performance. The causes of this imbalance are numerous: sudden dietary or environmental changes, stress, weaning, lack of fiber, excess fermentable carbohydrates (starch), and more.
These disturbances, regardless of their origin, can lead to bacterial overgrowth and lactic acid accumulation, increasing the risk of acidosis.
EQUIFLORA is a unique solution combining two complementary actions:
Prebiotic Action
Supports and stimulates the development of beneficial intestinal flora, strengthening gut-specific immunity and, consequently, the horse’s overall immune system.
Probiotic Action
Helps regulate intestinal acidity and improves feed digestibility and nutrient utilization.

Daily Dosage
Foal: 5 g per day
Yearling: 10 g per day
Pregnant mare: 40–50 g per day (2 scoops)
Adult horse (maintenance): 20–25 g per day (small scoop)
Sport horses, stressed horses, or horses with digestive issues: 40–50 g per day (2 scoops)
To support immunity, administer EQUIFLORA for 3 to 4 weeks. To improve digestibility and nutrient utilization, continuous use is recommended.
