GOFERVAL BAUME is an ointment designed for healing deep wounds, minor skin conditions, scratches (pastern dermatitis), dermatophilosis, cuts, abrasions, burns, shingles, skin irritation, and it is also ideal for promoting healthy wound granulation. GOFERVAL BAUME forms a protective layer that helps protect the developing granulation tissue.

GOFERVAL BAUME contains picric acid, beeswax, and petroleum jelly, which provide antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

GOFERVAL BAUME can be safely used during competitions, during pregnancy, and even if the animal licks the treated area. It can be used on all animals.

Directions for Use

Before the first application, it is not necessary to clean the wound with Betadine.

Wash the wound with soapy water and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Cover the wound with a thick layer of the ointment so that it is completely protected. If possible, cover the treated area with gauze.

Apply twice daily. As the wound improves, bandaging may be discontinued. Continue applying the product until the wound heals and hair begins to regrow.

Before each application, gently wipe the wound to remove pus and dead tissue. Wash the healthy surrounding skin with mild soap and lukewarm water.

For small wounds or cracks, application with a brush is sufficient.

For minor skin damage, one application per day may be sufficient.
